This project was a new build on Dutch Hollow, a beautiful lake in the Driftless region. This client absolutely loves lake life and wanted to maximize views to the water, while inviting the outdoors in through the use of a soft, natural material palette. With direct access to an adjacent outdoor cooking space, this kitchen provides the perfect space to gather with beloved friends and family, all while enjoying the stunning backdrop of the lake's natural beauty.

Designed to frame views of horse pastures and celebrate a family's deep love of natural wood, this 1990s kitchen got the ultimate warm-yet-contemporary refresh. Think distressed quarter-sawn white oak, bright stacked cabinetry, and sunlight pouring in from every angle.

Working with repeat clients is always a joy, but this one will hold a special place in our hearts forever!

Our clients loved their kitchen layout, but the worn cabinets, awkward wall partitions, and underutilized desk area were ready for a major refresh. By adding custom rustic hickory and espresso cabinetry, leathered granite countertops, and a long-awaited bay window over the sink, we gave this space the warm, efficient update it deserved.
